Group Auditions
We will be holding team auditions during our two summer sessions.
The first audition will take place on Thursday, May 28th & 29th from 6 pm to 7:30 pm. This audition will be taken like a class and is meant to see who is interested in the teams and how everyone dances together. If you are unable to attend this audition, a second audition will take place on Saturday, August 2nd from 1 pm to 2:30 pm.
Cost of Competition Team
The competition team rehearsal costs will be $60/month per team. Anyone interested in signing up for a solo will be charged $60/hour for rehearsal, Duets will be $38/dancer per rehearsal hour, and trios will be $30/dancer per rehearsal hour.
For anyone that signs up and commits to the SDC for the 2025-26 season, before May 10th, will receive a $10 discount on all teams, solo, duet, and trio rehearsals for the entire season. Any returning members of SDC will get 2024 pricing.
Additional entrance fees for the 4 competitions will be required for participation.
Solo / Duet / Trio Dances
Dancers interested in Solo/Duet/Trio will need arrange times with Mrs. Laura.
When we get closer to performing at competitions, additional rehearsals may be required. SDC will give the team one month's notice before a mandatory extra rehearsal will be added for Group Dances. Any additional rehearsals will require an additional $10 charge to the competition team tuition.
