Leveling for the 2026 Fall schedule will take place in July, making summer classes an important opportunity for dancers to demonstrate progress and readiness for advancement. At Silhouette Dance, we are refining our class structure to better support each dancer’s development by introducing a new level system based on skill progression and technique mastery rather than age alone. While age ranges serve as a general guideline for class placement, final placement will be determined by our Director to ensure each dancer is placed where they can grow, be challenged, and succeed.
Summer Classes at Silhouette Dance provide a unique opportunity for dancers to focus on growth, refinement, and strengthening their technical skills in a more concentrated environment. Without the pressures of the regular season, dancers can take the time to build a stronger foundation, improve technique, and challenge themselves in new ways. We understand that summer schedules can vary, which is why this is the only time of year we offer prorated tuition for vacations and preplanned events. To receive prorated tuition, families must complete the required Google Form by May 30th for June enrollment and June 30th for July enrollment. This flexibility allows dancers to stay committed to their training while still enjoying their summer, encouraging participation even if they are only able to attend for a few weeks.
